A Psychological Introspection – The Mind
A General Overview Into Behavioral Psychology And Conditioning, Leading To Character Development And The Mind. Finally The Conclusion Will Include My Own Theories On Freud’s Structural And Topographical Models.
However, taking the theory even further, from my own experimental observations, it appears that there exists a constant battle between the Id and Ego (Conscious and subconscious/unconscious) to gain absolute control over the mind, in order to manifest desires and intent into a physical reality. Each in turn have the power/ability to motivate the emotional drive to push the mind into specific actions.

If one was to look even closer to these two opposite energetic forces, which are constantly active within our minds, by dissecting their functions even further, one will observe that one is conscious and one is the unconscious, one is based in reality and one is based in fantasy, one is realist and one is an idealist, one is fears, doubts and confusion and the other is hope, determination and confidence and when one is mortal and attached only to the physical reality, the other is immortal and possesses absolute freedom. These are the human being’s opposing poles, like the planet Earth has the north and south poles; the human being possesses two opposing forces working together to manifest their own intents and desires and it is these two energies that create the conflict and confusion in our minds, for they are constantly opposing each other to bring the awareness to the mind for the mind to incorporate them in balanced harmony via the information it had been fed since its birth.
However, sometimes during or after a very shocking event or experience, the mind (superego) will trigger off the shutting down of all emotional responses as directed by the Id or the Ego, taking full control of the situation by ceasing all other secondary functions, in order to ensure its minimal functionality in keeping its body alive. Specifically the mind’s automated trigger will switch on if these two forces were already undergoing many years of highly conflicting experiences, during which the mind was still processing incomprehensible or conflicting information as sent or directed by the Id or Ego. Thus the mind would already be submerged in an emotional mess of various attachments, as motivated by either the Id or the Ego.

As much as I respect the many interesting theories that Freud and other psychologists had produced to form the bases of the world of psychology; many of which through my own studies, observations and analysis had proved themselves to be lacking or incomplete, if not outdated. Specifically in behavioural psychology and character development, which are fundamentally based on Freud’s Structural and Topographical Models. However, what would be the point of evolution if our individual creativity did not add to the wealth of information that already exists.

Interesting piece.
I find the study of twins revealing: how can two so genetically similar be, sometimes, so different?
Thanks,
Clay

Interesting, We only learn what we are taught as a child but as we mature we add to our knowledge, even then we are only branching out further in the known community.

Brandon: that was a question I only asked a friend about a week ago… though phrased slightly differently… where does reality begins and imagination ends or are they not one and the same? There is no end and no beginning… For as long there was a creative force that gave birth to all other sources of creativity in order to experience its own magnificence, then there will always be creativity…
Clay: how can they be so different or so similar… what does it all mean? Yet each is still an individual because of their own individual choice… though at times is it not a possibility that twins may act and behave the same way, because since birth their caregivers and their environment had impressed that image onto them…
Ruby: Exactly, unless one works hard to free the mind from all its belief systems bred through its educational and environmental influence/exposure, which might have preconditioned it to think and react in a certain way… Thinking outside the box allows it to become creative…
Conner: Thnx… human beings are the most beautiful species on this planet, even with all their downfalls… they are superbly fascinating, though little do we give ourselves credit for the magnificent entities that we are…

Very interesting and intricate essay. However, I do have a couple of questions.
Are our own cognitive biases inherently pre-programmed in our mind?
If so, by whom? How are *we* to know, or even to understand, since our own minds could be but a pre-programmed machine designed to reject understanding of our own condition?
