“Desmond Rhodes: [when group explains reasons for cooperating] I’m here cuz the SAT is racist.
Matty: Well, that didn’t take long, did it?
Desmond Rhodes: What, you don’t think so? Who made the test? Rich white guys. Who scored the highest on the test?
Roy: [interrupts Desmond] Asian chicks. Middle-class asian girls who watch less than an hour of television a day. They can’t drive, but they can kick the [crap] out of the SAT“(The Perfect Score).

Everyone has a dream. For most of high school students this dream is to get an education and to get their dream job. However, there some things in life which main goal is to break those students’ dreams. One of those things is the malevolent test named SAT. Every year millions of students hate it with passion. It seems like this test is made to crush students’ dreams. Everything that they dreamed of, from college of their choice to dream job, goes into a dumpster. The Perfect Score is a movie that shows what some of students have to go through in order to defeat the inimical SAT.

The movie is mainly built out of the three parts. It is easy to distinguish between them parts because characters are showed differently in each part. The first part explains students’ struggling with the SAT. The second part shows plan that a group of students come up with to get the answers for the test. The third part is the resolution in which the results of their job is showed.

The main character is Kyle. Chris Evans was definitely a perfect actor to play him. Kyle is an average student who has high GPA but who did not get SAT scores he needed to get into his dream college. Sometimes he likes to think things through, while sometimes he just gets to it. His best friend is Matty Matthews who is played by Bryan Greenberg. Matty is another average student. His GPA is much lower than Kyle’s but they can still get along. It’s SAT that stands in front of Matty’s dream as well. His dream is to join the college where his girlfriend went. Matty always thinks differently. It is not mentioned but it can be implied from the movie that Matty likes to violate rules. In the same time he is smart, because he doesn’t want a lot of people to know. Later on in the movie Matty and Kyle assemble a group in order to achieve their goal, and although they use unusual way of defeating the test, in the end they achieve their goals.
