Deception Behind the Truth

Everyday we eat, we sleep, we work, we play and do everything we enjoy to do. As day passes by we grow older and older knowing that this life is great as we are alive and when the time comes that death knocks on our door, we would be ready and everything just come to an end. Well that is the truth. But have you ever thought that there is something behind that truth? Something that is not what you see in your naked eye, not heard buy your sensitive ears nor sensed your by naked body. Think again..

I was at the store one day to buy a bottle of milk. A normal day for me when suddenly Thomas, a friend ask me for my help. He left his keys in his office and he needed it so badly that I need to give him a ride back to his office as soon as possible. As we hurry on our way to his office my sister called me on my phone and it was a long conversation that I requested my friend to drive.(It was my policy to my self that I wont drive when I’m in a phone call) Then there I was talking to my sister when suddenly we saw a man lying along the road. We stopped and tried to help the man, carried him in inside the car and took him to the nearest hospital.

(As my policy to my self that I wont drive when I’m in a phone call) Then there I was talking to my sister when suddenly we hit a truck and the next thing I remember is that all the things around me became dark.

Two separate occasions, same two people involved ( me and Thomas), same car, almost with the same reason but unfortunately with a very different out come? Why? Who is responsible for the events around us? Do we have the power to decide and to choose our actions to ensure that the outcome of our efforts are good? Are we in control of our lives or are we a mere piece of a play that is already written and all it takes is time for it to finish? Who decides what is right and wrong, good and bad, truth and deception?
