Dreams: Interpretation, Analysis and Mind Games
Once you hit the sack, your dreams override your conscious and you enter into a fascinating realm of horror or fantasy. The key to unlocking the true meaning of your dreams lies within each and every one of us and although we can easily interpret them for ourselves, yet, we seldom take the initiative to do so.
Our Dreams are Unique in every aspect and we need to realize how special and unique we are as individuals. Just like finger prints our dreams are singular in nature and biology. They depict the various thoughts whizzing in our heads. Some notions are so deeply buried and others serenade the surface of our conscious minds. Our individualism reflects what we think, see, smell or feel and no other being can duplicate our emotions and actions at any given time. Dreams are our path to self-discoveries, gateways to our inner-most emotions and feelings.
Fear in dreams is related to our fears in reality. What we fear the most in our life, when awake, is framed in the curvatures on our minds which slowly but surely creeps up on us and sparks off when we put our physical bodies to rest. Sometimes this fear can be so real and genuine that it is difficult to awaken from our nightmares. This is commonly known as sleep-paralysis, which happens when we are terrified of our dream and our not able to move any part of our body and behind closed lids we are left to face the horrifying episodes which when understood properly, is only a fragment of our imagination. Our fear amplifies because primarily we are not able to gain control over our nightmare and secondly our movements are halted. Finally, when we are able to move, we jerk up from the bed and our terror ceases. Simply put, Sleep Paralysis is a time period in our sleep when we are unable to perform voluntary movements. Although this problem is utterly petrifying, it can be controlled by regular exercise, adequate sleep and proper nutrition.
Our most vivid dreams are experienced during an REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Stage. During this phase, our eye movements are rapid and our brain is totally active. It is mostly during this transitional period that we get the most influential and realistic dreams. How we understand our most important dreams during our sleep, depends of how we well we understand the ability of our mind to create a multitude of pictures within its casing. More interestingly, some of our dreams can be similar if not complete replicas of other people’s dreams. This can help us recognize our connections with fellow-humans and the magnitude of time spent with others
Mostly, we are not able to recall our dreams or remember them for only short periods of time. If we are avidly seeking some answers to our dreams, it is advisable to journal our thoughts so that they can be pieced together for a better understanding. If this practice is regularly followed, you will be able to recall your dreams better and depict the hidden meaning hidden behind our visualizations.
The most interesting clue in our brains hub is the ability to foresee some future events during dreaming. Till date, they have been no evidence to support why our mind is able to generate such factual and precise predictions. This mystery will forever be coiled in our memories till scientists do not come up with any answers to this miracle.
