In adolescence, there are several phases:
- Phase of early adolescence (ages 12 years to 15 years).
- Phase of the mid teens (ages 15 years to 18 years).
- Phase of late adolescence (ages 18 to 21 years).
- Phase of puberty, (age 11 or 12 years to 16 years), a phase that is short and sometimes a separate issue for adolescents in theface.
Puberty is overlap between childhood and adolescence, so thedifficulties that existed at that time may cause adolescents have difficulty in facing the next development phase. In this phase,adolescents experience changes in the hormone system (thebody) that gives good impact on the physical form (especially thesexual organs) and psychological, particularly emotional.
Emotional upheaval that occurs in adolescents can not be separated from the influence of neighborhood, family, school,peers, and activities done in everyday life.
Adolescence is identical with the social environment. Social environment requires them to be able to adjust themselves effectively. If the activities undertaken at school, where most of his time to be there, is not sufficient to meet the demands of turbulentenergy, the teens often vent excess energy into the negativedirection (eg brawl).
