Handwriting Obsolete?
In the future handwriting won’t be nescessary, but, for now it is needed for our planet to survive. Is handwriting the best way to communicate? Who cares thats an oppinion. Is this a battle anyone can win? Either way the kids lose, but, who cares, I hate children.
In the future, the U.S. will be king of the world instead of the angry powerhouse it is today, and some people won’t be cool with that. What was once just a rival gang formed in retaliation to taxes will become the strongest nation in the world. In the future, cars will fly, robots will replace our government, and there will no longer be a need for handwriting. Instead people will use telepathy and brain illustrating image machines.
Handwriting is ancient; it is used in every country, and helps people communicate. There are many forms of communication and many ways to get a point across, these forms include, yelling, screaming, hand motions, fighting, sending cryptic messages, and communicating via satellite. Which one of these is the best? Which one is most efficient? Which one is the best? Well, that’s an opinion, and to be honest, I don’t care for opinions, is this a battle any side can win? Either way the kids lose, and who cares? I hate kids. Those little punks ruining my movie; I wanted to see the passion without a bunch of kids crying. I guess it doesn’t matter because no one paid. Back in the times before MMORPGs, Tony Hawk, and automatic hole punching machines, cave peoples used pictures to communicate. These said “pictures,” where made on the sides of caves with basic paint. They were usually pictures of things they hunted such as woolly mammoths. Now imagine. if we couldn’t understand these pictures, we may have never known about these wonders of the natural world. This could have lead to the extinction of many other creatures and lead to the end of the planet, no, the universe as we know it.
Fortunately, in today’s world, evolution has evolved from a simple man scrawl into a utopian array of letters, numerals, and characters. Some people may think these letters are confusing, corny, or useless, but I believe this is necessary. The language of letters is not understandable, however, without handwriting. While in the future, there won’t be a use for handwriting or communication in general, but for now we must communicate to survive. If every kid does not have handwriting embedded into there brain by the time they are in junior high, we are doomed to a future full of darkness and sorrow. Fortunately, they haven’t stopped teaching handwriting yet and even if we wont be needing it someday, until then handwriting is something we need. If children have bad handwriting, they should be forced to practice for long periods of time until they write perfectly. Kind of like getting reprogrammed in a wrinkle in time.
Handwriting is very important to be taught, even if over the past few years people have been using technology more and more, these skills are essential, you won’t always have access to Microsoft word or
Handwriting is very important and should be kept in schools, it is very important, (for now) and it should be used a lot. Computers aren’t as reliable as just regular note taking, in conclusion, handwriting is essential and I think it should be taught in schools, not less.
