Hold on to THE Dream

From the bottom to dreams of better days ahead…

More and more people are loosing their jobs and homes. They are consider a lost unwanted group. Its funny how the Government gives to illegal aliens, but the American people suffer. They had dreams and they lost their jobs then the homes. Why don’t they count. They live in tents and makeshift buildings just tring to survive for the dream they hold on too. Why would Americans go and trash the places they live. They don’t have much, but you don’t want to see them and you don’t want to know them. They are parents, brothers, sisters and they belong. They try to get food, blankets, and anything that we take for granted. They will accept any type of help. They look for work and try to better themselves until they can get a low cost place to live. Carol and David have been married 32 years and had a three bedroom ranch house in an upper class neighborhood. They lost their jobs to cutbacks. They lived on their savings for three years while looking for work. They lost the house and were put out onto the streets. They stayed at a motel for awhile but the rest of their money was used up pretty quickly. They had  400.00  and change left. They knew they had to do something before they had nothing. They bought a tent and supplies. They went to a tent city and set up camp. They spent money on gas looking for work. Pretty soon they sold their car just to survive. They bought food and personnel supplies. There are thousands like Carol and David out there. Why is America turning a blind eye and deaf ear to their cries. I wonder in ten years, will America be made of tent cities and food lines. What is becoming of this nation? Where are they to go without anyone hassling them? Will you help or tear them down more?
