How Colors Affect Us All
Ever notice that when you walk into a room, the colors alone has changed your mood? It happens a lot. Sit back, look at different colors, take the time to stop and think about: How has a particular color made you feel?
Ever notice how when you walk into a room, and the colors alone, have altered your mood. Probably not, but if you will notice most doctors offices are a cool blue, or soothing earth color; orange, tan or brown. These colors are designed to make you feel comfortable. People use color for healing, to help depression, or for soothing.
Colors have a lot of energy; by focusing on them, they can offer a lot of healthy benefits. Focusing on your bodies Chakras, you can fully re-charge yourself, helping to feel healthier. Sometimes we may actually need a color to help us get motivated, to get moving, other times we may need to concentrate.
Red is a “charge” type of color, usually too loud for conservative circles. Focusing on “Red” can raise blood pressure.
Orange is known to aid in digestion, it is not really a color worn by many. Orange is great to focus on; it helps to relieve pain and discomfort. Orange is an earth color; that is found and blends in with nature, thus considered soothing.
Yellow is a bright color that acts to “stimulate” the body, and mind. This colors helps get the central nervous system, telling your vital organ to get on task to perform their job. The stimulation over all, get the mind thinking and creating new ideas.
Green is a mental color, focusing on green help us to relieve the every day stress that we encounter daily. This color is a great aid in many relaxation techniques, probably because this too is a color that is found in nature.
Blues are an all purpose healing color. It boosts energy, while reducing stress. When you reduce stress, you aid in building and keeping your immune system strong.
Violet has long been a color of royalty. It is a great color for boosting ones self-esteem. It brings thoughts into focus, improving your ability to concentrate.
Using these colors in different shades helps to create a mood, or a feeling.

Red fires me up, as if a fire was lit, while blue calms me down as if I was standing on a beach, looking out to sea, with a bright blue sky line. Think about the blue, and relax.
