How Fantasies Become Realities Overnight

One writer claims that if a man dreams lofty dreams so shall he become. If you wish to achieve optimality and reach the pinnacle of your ambitions, you need to develop the imagination.

                                            How fantasies become realities overnight

Everything that constitutes modern society was once a thought impulse generated by a desire by an individual or few people to improve their standard of living and the progression of the human race as master of the galaxy.  I can imagine that Henry Ford imagined himself building locomotives before he transformed the images in his mind to a reality.

According to Napoleon Hill in his book Think and Grow Rich’, no one should underestimate the faculty of the imagination and its capacity to generate ideas and mental foreplay for the orgasm of success.  He says that man’s “only limitation in life is that man has not reached the apex of the development of his imagination”.

Napoleon Hill divided the Faculty of the imagination into two types of imaginative faculties. These are the synthetic and creative imagination.

The synthetic imagination draws upon impulses generated from history, education and experience to generate stimulus for thought and production. It involves using concepts already utilized by others and adding a unique individual touch to it. Napoleon claims that this concept “works off nothing, it merely works with the material of experience, education and observation with which it is fed”. The synthetic imagination is build upon knowledge that is already available and this is what the inventor and business executives draw upon when they need to make important decision.

The creative faculty of imagination is extended to geniuses and entrepreneurs who are selling commodities that are novel and never been introduced on the market before.  This is when man’s mind seeks to understand, create and cultivate explanations and theories for our existence without consulting or banking on what already existed. This involves tapping very deeply into the subconscious of man’s psyche buoyed by impulse, desire and inspirations to engender a wealth of knowledge that far outweighs that which already exist within society.  According to the book
“the great leaders of business, industry, finance, and the great artists, musicians, poets and writers, became great, because they developed the faculty of creative imagination”. This means that Michael Jackson, Bill Gates, Bob Marley, Isaac Newton and Andrew Carnegie had great faculties of creative imagination.

It is important to develop ones imagination. One writer claims that if a man dreams lofty dreams so shall he become. If you wish to achieve optimality and reach the pinnacle of your ambitions, you need to develop the imagination. You may begin by subscribing to the synthetic imagination through classes, the reading of books and education. When the synthetic faculty does not provide answers to what one needs. Then the individual may try the creative imagination and see what greatest and originality lay beyond the shores of one’s psyche

. Whatever you need to accomplished in life. You will have to imagine it before you can achieve it.  Play it out in your mind and then set out to realize your dream.  Be careful. Do not dwell on your imagination. Many individuals spend a lot of time living their lives in their minds when they should have been hard at work. Do not make that mistake. Imagine what you need at night before you go to your bed and then wake up tomorrow and get to work.
