How to Dream and Build Your Subconscious
An effective approach into the dream world and how it helps to build up the subconscious of your brain.
Anyone having trouble with dreams? Here are some useful tips on how to dream! And also how you can make use of your dreaming power to construct your subconscious brain.
First and foremost, you need to make up your mind and affirm yourself that you are gonna dream and have profound memory!! The steps are quite simple and I don’t think you’d be having any trouble with it. Read on!
Dream
- Every time before you go to bed, take a few deep breaths
- Feel relaxed, don’t tense up and don’t get yourself stressed.
Smile away!! =) - Lie down on your bed, lights off!
- Look up and body posture straight but don’t be stiff! Just relax…
- Don’t stress any muscles. Let loose of your whole body.
- Take a few more deep breaths and slowly close your eyes.
- Change your body posture gently. make sure that you are very comfortable with it.
- Tell yourself not to sleep yet. After a few seconds, wander away your thoughts and don’t concentrate.
- Slowly start thinking about things that you love the most! Person, thing, activity, movie, animal, food, scenery or whatever that you think is interesting and lovely!
- Now, imagine… You are now in another world… World of your own… Dreamland…
- See yourself in the world. Create how want to look like! Just like how you create your sims! Make sure that you look the best!! Now, you are the main character in your dream… Start creating new characters which you’d prefer. It can be anything! Ducks!!
- Slowly specialize the characters that you have created. Move them around! Use the power of your imagination to create a story… A story of your own!!
- By now you might already be sleeping or you might not. Whatever it is, continue with your world! You’ll be creating your own dreams for a start!! It’s nice ye know!!
- The whole thing here is actually called self-hypnosis. It’s very very useful to wake your subconscious mind.
- Practice this everyday to tap the power of your subconscious mind!!
- After about a week, you’ll get used to it. Slowly your subconscious mind will become active and you’ll begin to have dreams that are directly projected from your subconscious. These dreams are the one you can’t control. It would be sudden and unpredictable. Depends on how active your subconscious is! The more dreams you have the higher is the capability of your subconscious!!
- These dreams are always different and special. You’ll see new characters and new imaginary views that might differ from your very own. But it is yours to keep!!
- It can be very useful at times! It taps your hidden talent and creativity in the form of dreams. Slowly you’ll be able to direct them into your conscious mind and there you go!! You’ll discover something new bout yourself!!
- Trust me!! =)
- Dreams are wonders!! Really!!

Memory
- Repeat steps 1 to 8 above.
- Now, slowly concentrate one by one on the things that you did that very day.
- Try to recall every single thing that you can!! From the time you wake up till the time when you’re in bed right now.
- Try not to miss any single thing! Even menial things like what you took for breakfast, what colour shirt you wore, what you did in school, what words you used when you talked to your friends and everything!!! Just every single thing that you went through!!! The more things that you could recall, the better it is!
- If you can’t remember some stuffs, try your very best to get at least a gist of it!! Concentrate hard!!
- After that, make a conclusion about your day. Make it an optimistic one!! =)
- Now, just sleep like normal. You might dream.
- When you wake up in the morning, try to recall your dreams whatever that you can remember. Then, write it down on a small notepad. Look at it each time you go to sleep. And every time you remember something bout your dream, just note it!!
- It helps to enhance your subconscious memory ye know!! Try it out people!!
Remember that when you really want something badly, you can always get it done!!

Very interesting. When I was still in school, I often dream doing my homework and after waking up, I found my homework to be very easy to be completed

This is similar to what I was talking about in my article Pinch Me, I’m Dreaming. I’ve always had excellent recall of daily events. I can remember specific details of any given day from what I had for breakfast to who said what and where I was going. Since I wrote my article I’ve been working on remembering my dreams. The trick I use is before I go to sleep, I say out loud, “I will remember my dream” over and over again until it becomes just a thought as I drift off to sleep. Amazingly, I’ve been able to remember my dreams as I never had before. Next I’m going to work on lucid dreaming. Great article!

I have kept a dream journal off and on since I was fourteen- it is very good for your mental health. Dreams tell us about our anxieties and fears and hopes- they are one of my favorite subjects to read about.
I love this. Great job, Intrepidus.

Cool advice, if dreaming every night and remembering most of your dreams means you have an active subconcious then I guess I already have one. I’ll try that tip to help with my memory though, I have trouble remembering stuff sometimes.
