Human Intelligence is Declining Rapidly
New studies show human intelligence is decreasing rapidly. What can we do to stop it?
Every one leads a separate life and has their own personal perception. Usually we are smart enough to ward off the things that lure our bodies into despair. But recent studies show we are not. Why is this, you might ask?

The reason lies in our decision making abilities and the seemingly safe/innocent activities we take part in. What I’m trying to say, is we do things that kill our brain cells making us less intelligent. I have written this article to warn you to stop doing certain things if you care to be smarter and healthier later in life, or sooner.
I have constructed a list of of studies about brain destroying activities/substances that the average human takes part in/is surrounded bye.
- Eating junk food — ever wonder What happens to your brain cells when deprived of the things need to survive? They get hungry! A little bit of junk food won’t hurt, but unhealthy food on a consistent basis without any healthy food will cause brain cells to wither. Again, you have complete control over what you choose to eat. Pick healthy foods and give your brains the things they need in order to survive/grow.
- Dehydration – Without sufficient levels of water in the brain, ions get disrupted and the result is brain damage. Drink the right amount of water every day. Ions getting disrupted is hardly noticeable until yo
- Avoiding exercise — the effects that are associated with lack of exercise are brain killers. Exercise reduces stress levels, chance of brain damage, and even creates new brain cells.
- Being a chronic negative thinker — The act of simply thinking negative will not cause any sort of brain cell loss. Most people have negative thoughts that creep in their consciousness from time to time. Negative thinking is a serious brain killer.
- Smoking cigarettes — The act of smoking cigarettes could be taking a heavy toll on your mental health. The fact is, scientists have found that “smoking” kills brain cells. not only does it kill brain cells! it gets you addicted to doing it!
- Food additives — Food additives contain a group of compounds called Exotoxins. Exotoxins Are in most food additives and kill brain cells. Most processed foods contain them.
- Using cleaning solvents — ever feel weird after Taking a good whiff of a solvent? it can really knock you out! If you can smell the solvents it is causing severe brain damage.
- Lack of quality sleep — We all know that when we don’t get enough sleep, we cannot properly function the next day! Not only does lack of quality sleep interfere with learning and social functions (left-hemisphere), it does kill brain cells.
Do not do or take part in these things and your intelligence might just stop declining. Good luck, Stay smart.

Informative piece regarding these stats. The power of reading a good book is always the greatest exercise for the brain. Anything and everything. Personally I lean toward 19th & 20th century authors as opposed to magazines, but any good reading will keep a tuned mind! Keep at it!

People have been subjected to almost every one of those things– For thousands of years. The scientific equation of these “stressers” on daily life and their effects on intelligence is absolutely baseless. The slowly declining intelligence in our population is due to higher birth rates in less gifted and intelligent beings, and lower in higher intelligent people.
According to a time magazine article, England and the US’s average intelligent rating has decreased 2 points by every generation, this is because of a lack of difficulty in daily tasks that challenge the brain.
