Your definition of word bad looses its point when you diversing points of view, if you would become completly rational with no emotins, bad, dull and boring would loose theri point. Also the results you get from you logic are incorrect, thus your logic is incorrect and you aren\'t qualified for writing about this topic. Or you are just spohist.

Let\'s look at the example:
your qoute:
\"One of the two most significant affects of everyone becoming logical is that there would be no improvement in living standards for the middle class & the rich and also no improvement in world science.\"

First thing that people would be concentrated to would be development, not in any, but in all ways and all means!
Why?
People would still have logos meaning they would still trieve for absence of end=death.

I would love to show you wrong things in your discussion but i got to go out see ya! :D

Using a logical and rational methodology to your thought processes doesn't have anything to do with emotion or the lack thereof. It may help you contain illogical impassioned actions such as violence and extreme depression (dependant on circumstances) but it doesn't stop emotion altogether. In fact it's only logical to realise your body has certain emotional needs that must be fulfilled or you will fall into an irrational state.

It certainly wouldn't stop mankinds desire to know more, in fact it may just help it to understand what it sees better. Logic and rationality are not bad things when applied on a day to day basis.

Being logical doesn\\\'t mean ignoring your body\\\'s needs. We need happiness and it is a basic need. We play baseball with friends to improve our social life and for entertainment, we need it. I think that you missed your point, there\\\'s a philosophy to ignore your body needs but that\\\'s not logical thinking.

Though I fully agree that conflict and differences are necessary for life, I believe that all people are equally rational, and the differences that you are referring to are how people express their true thoughts, not what their true thoughts are.
