It’s Never to Late to Follow Your Dreams!

How many times do you wake up and think “My life is flying by and there are so many things I wanted to do but I’m too old and it’s too late to follow my dreams now.”

I’m 48 and love music. I want to join a Christian band but I have two children one 9 years old and the other 11 years old.  They are both very involved in sports and music.  How can I justify following my dream now.  I can’t take time away from them in a flash they will be all grown up and I would feel like I missed out on their journey.  But at the same time I feel like a missed out on mine. 

Then it occurred to me. What if I look at it this way I can be a power of example to them so they don’t make the same mistake I did and let their dreams slip by.  See me go for it now will show them it’s never to late to follow your dreams and that it’s okay to go after your dreams now. 

Never let a dream slip away for the fear of trying it.  I am going to go for it and all my dreams. Life has a way of working itself all out.  Balance is the key. Anything is possible you just have to believe.
