Mate Selection

Statically mean and women desire sincerity faithfulness, tenderness, reliability, communicative, passion, carefulness, amusing, love for children, self confidence, maturity and kindness. These statically record depicts results of above given traits respectively showing the assessment study of sex differences in Serbia. This shows that men score higher for former items while character traits were perceived as more desirable by women. (Buss, 1994; Greilig and Buss, 2000).       

 There is a grate proverb that beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. Therefore, it seems quit illogical that there are certain characteristics which are being used by the humans while selecting a mate. We are all individual. We seem to have reoccurring tendency when we select a mate. We should remember that at the end we are still individuals and that we choose mates for compatibility with us. Whether it may be result because of our biological urges or may because of society’s traditions, or any other factor. We each have own reasons for choosing a mate.
