Everyone experiences low moods, it’s just part of being human. Do you need a little happy boost? Try these three simple ideas to get you back into a state of nirvana.
- Use alphabet magnets and write a upbeat and cheerful message on your refrigerator in the morning. Most likely you will forget it’s there later in the day and when you go back to it you will be in for a pleasant surprise.
- Spend your lunch hour or any free time you have during the day doing something nice for someone else. Drop old magazines off at a hospital or nursing home, buy some muffins or donuts for your fellow co-workers or drop by your child’s school to volunteer for any amount of time.
- Pour a cup of salt into your bath water. Magnesium, zinc and potassium, the same elements that make you feel revitalized after a quick dip in the ocean, will drain the lactic acid out of your muscles, relieving tension.
