Quantum Physics and Successful Artistic Endeavor

Using our imagination and thought to accomplish our goals and make our dreams come true. Scientific findings that back up the theory that our thought is powerful enough to change reality, as we believe it to be. “First there was the thought.” Deepak Chopra.

The study of physics is a science of matter, its motion, space and time.

Max Born in 1924 coined the term “quantum mechanics”, a fundamental branch of physics, dealing with very small particles in space. Quantum physics theory states that the particles in space can and do change due to our observation of them.

I am a Psychotherapist and Writer, I am not a scientist and would have to refer you elsewhere for further information on these terms.

However, to simplify for our purposes, quantum physics is a study of (Quanta) unobservable tiny particles that we are now aware of at the atomic and subatomic level. We cannot view them by using microscopes, but we know they are there.

Our dreams begin in childhood and having faith in and using our imagination is what I believe, makes them come true.

We are all made of energy, everything is. If we can change those particles in space by observing them, which is the new finding, it means we have power to make things happen in our environment using our thought and imagination.

The course in Miracles, Cabala and other sacred texts imply that is how everything came to be. We first imagined it all.

Dr Deepak Chopra, an endocrinologist and motivational Speaker, Author, speaks of this in his lectures. “First came the thought.,” he states.

Meaning our thought came before us. If everything is created from thought imagine what you can do.

Therefore using our imagination as a tool to accomplish our goals, is using an incredible and powerful aspect of our being. In fact, without which, we would not have the refrigerator or any of our appliances.

Albert Einstein, a physicist, coined the phrase, “Imagination is more important than knowledge”

It could not be said any better than that, but if I were to try, I would say “Imagination is the first step in obtaining all you desire.” That is certainly true for me.

I was born to two wonderful, giving, talented, kind, artistic parents that did not have faith in themselves, a higher being, system, or their art. There were times we had no food. My desire to dine everyday encouraged me to use my imagination for more.

That faculty helped me create and acquire wealth. To this day, I still give lectures on positive thinking with the emphasis on the best tool we have, our imagination. The examples I give are many but here are a few:

A high School drop out without funds, I put myself through a four year College in three years and Graduate School with honors.

I won first prize at my first attempt in collegian debate knowing nothing about the subject. I did this by using my imagination and insisting my debate partner do the same. At first, he complained to the debate coach that there were three against one, with me as his partner. Meaning I knew nothing and so the two on the other team and I were against him. Though that was true, I was learning in each round and using my new knowledge, and more importantly my imagination, to win. I asked the coach to instruct my partner to humor me and imagine our team wining first prize.

My partner could not do this, though he tried. My faith and imagination was strong enough to pull us both to first place.

When the winning teams were announced, and third prize was given to another school, my partner was sure we lost.

I was out of my seat and a few rows down the auditorium as I heard my name called as the first prize, winning team. Near enough now, I grabbed our trophy before my partner even became aware we had won.

That could not have happened, had I believed what my partner was saying and had not thought positive, imagining it first.
