SELF-ESTEEM:Degree of liking or disliking for ourselves.Healthy self-esteem is a child’s armor against the challenges of the world. Kids who feel good about themselves seem to have an easier time handling conflicts and resisting negative pressure. They tend to smile more rapidly and enjoy life. These kids are realistic and generally optimistic.
In contrast, for children who have low self-esteem, challenges can become sources of major anxiety and frustration. Children who think poorly of themselves have a hard time finding solutions to problems. It is very important that they feel good about them selves we know that no body can make us feel inferior unless we our self feels that way.
Try to build up the confidence and make them believe that they can also score well and be among the good books of the teachers. Try and change their thinking, ask them to try new things and make mistakes. Tell them that we can also be wrong, but don’t stop doing things with the scare of making mistakes, thinking that it will go wrong. People with high level of self-esteem are always happy and are relaxed
