Some True Stories About The Power of The Human Mind

Beating cold, beating death, beating disease plus giving to some mind masters inhuman abilities. Learn some true stories.

Your mind is far more powerful than you ever thought it to be. In a book about healing our body with the power of our mind, I read a true story about Astecs that are real flames with their body. It’s a very clod area with some frozen lakes. To see who is the most powerful one they have to dry some clothes just with their minds. One man wets the clothes in the frozen lake, then places that frozen piece of clothes on his back and in the back of the rest of the group. The one that dries more at the end of the night, is the winner.

This is just one example. Another one from Mind Power News tells the story about one man that can cross a huge distance of a icycle land, plus without any piece of clothes. At the end of the journey he had eight fingers frozen. The doctor told him he would have to remove those fingers. The man said it would be not necessary, he would warm the fingers up just with his thoughts. So he did, you confirm this story at Mind Power News.

Dalai Lama also participated in a small research that wanted to prove that meditation expands our minds and increases the size of our brain, temporary only if we meditate only from time to time and permanently if we make meditation part of our lives.

What more can be said about mind power?

One last story, true indeed and somewhat sad. One man was sentenced to death, one doctor make him a proposal, he would participate in a research experiment. If he managed to survive, he would be free, otherwise he would die without any pain. The man accepted. The experience was very simple, the doctor made a small cut in the man’s finger, the man felt the cut but no vein was cut, just a superficial cut. The doctor told the man he would hear his blood dropping to the big cup that was places below his bed. Of course the doctor placed a device without telling the man that would make water drop into the big cup, but the man thought it was his blood. As the doctor was closing the valve, the man thought he was running out of blood, he turned white and then he died, his heart just stopped.

This sad story proves just how powerful the human mind really is!

I do agree the mind is very powerful, and can be fooled to believe anything it is told. Meditation plays a big part in how our brain functions, and helps you to stay in control

    Redburn,
I am a very firm believer that the most powerful entity known to man is man’s own mind, and who knows this better than our medical professionals. Everyday doctors see countless patients. Countless times they have prescribed placebo’s in place of actual medicine and told the patient their pain will subside with this medicine. When the patient reports back to the doctor that the medicine did its job, they have no idea it was actually the power of their own mind that did the actual healing and not the medicine. Isn’t the mind a wonderful thing. Keep up the great work, buddy.
This article was very well written and researched. Excellent writing.
