The Human Brain

The complexity of the human brain in comparison to a robot’s internal computer. Also includes a portion about emotions and a very special chemical we produce that makes us feel happy.

Are we built like robots?

Certainly, we are not built like robots. Robotic machinery usually have internal “computers” that we can program to make them mimic human emotions.

Of course, some programmers seem to come close to making robots with free thoughts by programming it with a randomizing feature. But this is not free thought. We are basically giving them the choices and simply having the computer “roll a dice” to decide its next action. Human minds decide their actions by thinking over the situation, and choosing the option that seems to be the “right” choice. Robots will never be able to tell right from wrong. People can tell right from wrong because of their conscience. Some people believe that they do not have consciences. But they can be proved wrong when asked questions like ,“So do you believe that when innocent people are murdered, that it is okay?” If they say “Yes it is okay”, then follow up with this question ,”So if someone were to ask you to kill your best friend, would you do it?” Now if they say yes again, ask this “Would you feel bad that you killed them?” They would have to say yes. Those who say no are lying. Everyone has an internal feeling that tells them simply that killing people who you care about for no good reason is WRONG. Humans brains are way more complex then even the most high tech robots.

Does our brain release chemicals in different situations?

Sadness, happiness, guilt, relaxation, these are all emotions. But are they controlled by the simple release of chemicals in the brain? Brains are filled with chemicals, or neurotransmitters, which serve their own function when transporting impulses throughout the brain. Can someone actually find out which chemical in the brain causes which emotion? There is only one chemical that particularly stands out from others.

Serotonin. This is a very intriguing chemical you produce in your body. The more serotonin you have in your system it is expected that you are happy or vise versa (when you are happy it is likely you have more serotonin in your system).

Since an abundance or serotonin makes you happy, then it is logical that a lack of serotonin causes sadness. This may cause depression, which may lead to stronger emotions of fear and hurtfulness.

Imagine you’re a teenager who is playing one of those shooting games.

You think “Wow guns are awesome.” But then one morning you go to school, and a man comes barging in pointing his gun at everyone. This would cause your serotonin to diminish and cause a fearful spine tingling feeling. You hate it. It makes your stomach curl. This is an example where you’re in two different situations and positions. When you’re the one holding the gun you feel powerful. When you’re the one looking deep into the barrel of the gun, you feel powerless. Emotions are strong things which cause people to do drastic things in different situations.

Science says the subconscious does the thinking. You only decide what. It even provides the questions. Does that make you think? Not really. You only think to prove it wrong. Am I right? But lets say you believe it for a minute, how do you get the information out of the subconscious? Intuition. Einstein said that intuition was the only real valuable thing. Does that make you decide to find out more? Probably not, even if intuition is more important than the theory of relativity. You say maybe it didn’t mean it that way. Or maybe intuition is not that good or I don’t have intuitions very often. In short we have every excuse in the book to let the body control the mind instead of the mind being in control. It runs the whole body, but maybe he and I don’t know what we are talking about. How dare he say that to me. hm. But it’s all true, but no one can hear. We are all programmed to the matrix. We are robots. Oh, science says that too.

im open to other ideas.your perspective sounds more logical since science backs it up.but im just pointing out different views.thanks for commenting
