When one thinks of Italy, the first thing that probably comes to mind is great Italian food such as pasta and pizza as well as world-famous tourist attractions such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum in Rome. However, Italy is also well-known to be home to some of the sexiest women in the world. The abundance of sexy Italian women can been admired quite easily by any visitor to Italy on the streets, on the beaches, and especially on television and on billboards. Trying to come up with a list of the top ten sexiest Italian women was truly a difficult task since narrowing the list down to ten was virtually impossible. Although I was finally able to get the list down to ten, I must admit that there were many Italian girls that did not make the cut that are just as sexy as the ten below. Therefore, the list below might be considered a sampling rather than a top ten list. This is my list of the ten sexiest Italian women in the world.

Monica Bellucci, 46, is a film actress and fashion model. Some of her more notable roles have been as “Persephone” in The Matrix movies and as “Mary Magdalene” in The Passion of the Christ.
Elisabetta Canalis, 32, is a television personality, film actress and model. She is also George Clooney’s girlfriend.
Ilary Blasi, 29, is a showgirl, model and television personality. She is also the wife of the famous Italian football player Francesco Totti.
Martina Colombari, 35, is a television personality and actress as well as a model.
Elisabetta Gregoraci, 30, is a fashion model and television personality. She is also married to Flavio Briatore, the manager of Formula One’s Renault team.
Francesca Fioretti, 25, is a world famous fashion model.
Melissa Satta, 25, is an American-born model and actress of Italian descent. She was featured in the 2010 edition of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue and is the girlfriend of former Italian footballer Christian Vieri.
Federica Ridolfi, 36, is a television personality and dancer.
Giorgia Palmas, 28, is a television personality and model. She was runner-up to Miss World in 2000.

Nice list. Never heard of or seen most of them, but they sure are pretty. Though, Slovak and Czech women are sexier than Italian ones in my opinion.
