Everything is matter. We are made up of atoms. We are organisms. That's it. To think we have a soul or anything supernatural like that is ridiculous. There is no way to prove that ghosts are or aren't real, because a ghost is merely an idea. The idea of ghosts came from way back when the Sumerian culture was around. I wasn't around then so I can't say for certain, but they probably came up with the idea of ghosts to give themselves reassurance that there is life after death. But that's all it was: an idea. People say they have seen and felt ghosts, but I believe that it is psychological. People believe what they want to believe. The mind has the ability to do anything. If you act sick, and fully think that you are sick, you will feel sick. Why? Because that is what you are thinking. You feel whatever you are thinking. If you are thinking of ghosts, you will think you feel or hear them. Why is it that the people who do not believe in ghosts don't have ghostly experiences? And why do people who believe in ghosts have these ghostly experiences. Because it is all about what you are thinking. I don't think ghosts are real. But it has not been proven that they aren't real. It has also not been proven that they are real. So then I ask myself, why even bother? In our lives we probably will not know the truth behind this, so why even think about it? Naturally it's hard to believe in ghosts when you've never seen one and even for some people who have seen them. My wife for instance saw one and described every detail but she says it was just a trick her mind played on the way to the bathroom but if that is how she sees it then that is fine with me. Mine have always been full bodied and I could see every detail and I know that it wasn't a mind trick, I am a grown man and I can tell the difference on cases such as this. As a human race somebody will always disagree with someone else so it doesn't hurt my feelings that some people don't believe me, that is perfectly ok but I ask for the respect of at least opening your mind a bit further or not calling me a liar. I was the guy in school with good grades and a very good role model to others so I have no intention of trying to fool anyone or make them believe anything that they don't. I also believe in God which is ridiculous to some but I find it ridiculous that everytime I question as to why they don't that they say we are just here, I can't see coming from nothing and to be given life by non-life. And if the big bang really happened the space it happened in and the bang itself was created by something whom I believe is God and you don't have to hate me for it, at least I have a reason to believe, why don't you have a reason for not believing? One of the greatest phrases I may have heard is "if there was no God there wouldn't be any atheists". I ask everyone to open their mind a little more and actually try to connect everything, after all we are a huge ball of earth in water floating in space somewhere, do you know what is under or above us? Regardless of anything though just don't doubt someone if you've never had reason to doubt them before, don't they deserve that at least?
