Wish Fulfillment

Psychological training in that desire is presented as an imaginary place. The productions of the unconscious (dreams, symptoms, fantasy) are the realization of this desire is expressed in a more or less disguised, deformed. This is not to expose the psychoanalytic theory of dreaming, whose initial proposition – the dream is a wish-fulfillment – you know who appears to Freud as the inaugural sign of its discovery.

Thus, the reader will find formulas like: two realizations of desire are in the latent content of a particular dream, etc.. The phrase “wish fulfillment” thus assumes an autonomous value as a function not only appoint the dream, but an internal structure thereof, capable of combining with another. In this sense it is practically synonymous with fantasy. It is the symptom (fears, obsessions and compulsions) that the desire takes place in a commitment to defense.

This leads to emphasize the fact that one can not say no production of the unconscious that carries a desire, all arise as a result of a conflict of a desire and a commitment to defense. “A hysterical attack is only produced when two opposing achievements of desire (desire and defense), each of which has its source in different psychic systems, are competing in a single expression through a commitment to produce the symptom (intense crying, aggressiveness , trembling, intense laughter, etc.)..
