“The sign on the entrance read: Sleep Study Research and Dream Interpretation Institute. I entered this enormous building, which was more like a shopping mall then a science institution, with great anticipation. I was there for a job interview with this middle aged gentleman who hired me on the spot, because he noticed my enthusiasm about the study of dreams. He was a nice person but strict and expected the work to be done. He partnered me with some young man who was kind, but not overly excited about his work. Last night, before my bedtime ritual of prayer and meditation, I was thinking about today’s article for the continuing series of Working With Your Dreams. Then in my prayer I asked for my creativity to open and for the words to flow so that I can share them with others. I then fell asleep after taking a glass of water with Vitamin B-6. Just before awakening this morning, I had the above dream. So what did I do with it? I layed still and thought about the above dream, invoking any feelings or sensations that I may have experienced while actually in the dreamscape. After I recalled as much as I could I immediately grabbed my journal and wrote it down, as quickly as I could before it would disappear later in the day. As I was looking over this dream while drinking my cup of Teecino, I realized that this would be the perfect example to illustrate how to interpret the symbols found in your dreams without using a dream dictionary. So, how do I interpret this dream?
