10 Cheap Sentimental, Thoughtful and Unique Presents to Get for Your Significant Other
Getting your significant other a present is hard no matter who they are, after a while you want to give them something more than you bought at a store but instead get them something that is sentimental and something that is sweet and from the heart, well here are 10 things.
- Your pillowcase. I think this is a great thing to do as it’s something you use to sleep every night, you don’t have to pay for it and it’ll remind them of you, it’ll bring them closer to you when you are apart and it’s a thoughtful gift knowing that you gave them something of yours that could mean so much to them because it’s just yours, something you use daily and something you have been using for a period of time.
- Stationaries/USB Thumb drive. If they don’t have a USB already that is. Why I think this is brilliant is because if your significant other is working or studying in school and they need that extra help of having new stationary because theirs ran out or getting a USB to retrieve information from work/school to bring home and work on it then it’ll be easier on them. It’s thoughtful and they’ll know that you’re thinking about their well being because you’re trying to help them with their work and you’re trying to help them accomplish and achieve things. Simple but this can go a long way.
- Something They Need. If they’ve told you one day they really wanted something for their households or something for themselves like a mug or work out gloves then it’d be great if you got it for them. It’d ease their mind knowing that they got something that they’ve been wanting but also they got it from the love of their life.
- Hidden Files/Notes. If you have access to their computer or to their house, make love notes or make a file just for them and write why you love them and what amazes you about them. Hide the notes or put the file on their desktop and put it somewhere they access or go to a lot, when they find it I assure you they’ll be overjoyed and will melt at the effort and the thoughtfulness of the gift.
- A Homemade Necklace With Their Favorite Thing. Whether it be a bead or a guitar pick it’s simple to make and knowing you put in so much effort will mean so much.
- A DVD of a Movie They’ve Been Wanting to See. They’ll be watching something they like and have been looking foreward too in a long time, I can tell you straight up that they’ll be absolutely stoked. If you go ahead and watch it with them then the time spent with you makes it priceless.
- A Book by their Favourite Author. Well it is their favourite author and you can read it before and after him to make it even more memorable and so you both can discuss certain situations in the book.
- A Homemade Coluring Book of your Love Story. This takes a couple minutes on Paint and all you have to do is make objects and people with words telling your love story. Make sure whatever it is that you make isn’t coloured in by you so you can send him some colouring pencils or crayons so they can colour it themselves.
- Their Favorite Sports or Band Merchandise. Whether it be a shirt or be accessories if it’s from their favorite then that certain thing you get them will be their favorite.
- A Handwritten Letter. Sometimes even something like a handwritten letter can give the most of effects. Don’t text for once and write something or even draw pictures because it has your touch on it and it’s completely and utterly from you, from the heart and from their love. That’ll make it fabulous.
