10 Things to Never Say on a First Date

1- “Wow, this is stressful.” Um… that’s… just stupid to say… period…

2- Never talk about your exes- god, can you SPELL uncomfortable?

3- “Can you handle the bill?” If YOU ask someone on a date, do NOT ask the other to pay.

4- What their highest level of education is- I mean, come on… what if they had to drop out of high school? Or college? That would be awkward.

5- For guys- “So is it a boy or a girl?” WOW. Never ask a girl that, period. Unless you are a husband or the father of a child and you know she is actually pregnant, and you want to know what the heck you are up against.

6- Never ask if they are actually going to call you back. Not only is that stupid, it lets the other person know that either one, you are desperate, or two, you can’t keep a significant other. That will tell them something right away.

7- Never talk about your school life on a first date, like if you did drugs or anything. BIG NO-NO. It’s just awkward and it means you have nothing better to talk about.

8- Never ask if the other wants to come back to your house. For crying out loud, it’s a first date. If you can spell desperate it would be R-U-L-E-8-O-F-T-H-I-N-G-S-N-O-T-T-O-S-A-Y-O-N-A- F-I-R-S-T-D-A-T-E. Yes, it is that long. There is a reason, take it into consideration.

9- Don’t keep talking about yourself. At least not if they don’t ask.

10- For girls- “Let’s try that again. You hold the door open. I walk through.” WOAH- rude.
