They are the nagging type who would tear apart their husbands with their verbal volleys. If the husband is a violent, or a no nonsense guy, he would not take anything lying down. So the marriage would ultimately lead to divorce.
What advice should I give to those couples?
Here are few tips on how to prevent a divorce.
- Both man and a woman have different personality. There would be personality clashes. Husband and wife should accept each other on how they are. You should learn to respect your partner’s behavior, taste, likings, opinions, even though you may not agree to it.
- If you disagree with your partner on a given situation, sit and discuss. Try to find a solution. Never expand your problems.
- It’s important not to intrude your partner’s domain
- If your relationship has deteriorated due to a particular habit of yours. Leave that habit.
- Always be committed to your spouse. Just being committed is not enough; you need to show your spouse that you are committed.
- Never enter into an extramarital relationship, it never works
- Never disclose secrets about your past affairs. Some may not find it amusing; your marriage can come to a halt.
- Avoid your old love flame if you ever had one, never get closer to your past lovers, it’s bound to effect your marriage
- Do not insult your spouse in front of others; repeatedly doing such acts can have drastic effects on your relationship in the long run
- Take time out and spend weekends with your spouse. Discuss small details of your daily life and always be faithful to each other.
Follow these guidelines, and even after doing so, your marriage gets into turmoil, you may find a marriage consultant then, to prevent a divorce.
