15 Marriage Potions

by The Candles in Relationships, December 9, 2008

A marriage relationship is precious and we need to keep it safe and secure.

After 4 years of marital life I could make a list of potions for a marriage out of my experiences. May be after some more years I will have to rewrite again by adding some more points to the following.

1. A marriage is the oldest and God formed institution.
2. A marriage is a covenant where couples have to lose everything to gain.
3. A marriage built on godly principles can last forever.
4. A marriage where love is sacrifice can be called as the marriage in truest sense.
5. A marriage relationship is not a partnership where the partners share 50-50 but it’s a friendship where they share 100-100.
6. EGO less partners make the best marriage on earth.
7. A true marriage has no ‘personal space’ in it.
8. A constant growth of love between the spouses keeps a marriage safe and secure.
9. Silence is not GOLD in a marriage relationship; in fact it’s a WALL.
10. Appreciation for each other is a nourishment to make a marriage healthier.
11. Humility teaches the spouses to become humble.
12. Sex is secondary; love is primary in a marriage relationship.
13. A marriage is a bond, not bondage.
14. The spouses love to take responsibility in a true marriage.
15. The sex libido of the spouses’ surges only for each other in a true marriage.

Dear Spouses! Please take a good dose of the above potions to stay healthy in your marriage life. Trust me it’s difficult but not impossible. All the best!

Very practical but very difficult to follow. But I think if we practice little by little it will be easier to follow the whole ONE day.

This advice is one I know God must have put in your heart to tell everyone. It’s flat out unconditional love. Great writing!

These are goals to be worked towards. Two intelligent individuals or one submitted to the will of the other who in turn lives and supports the partners, there are many combinations to create success from disparity. God Bless.
