How do you know if your husband is really cheating or not? Sometimes you can’t.

Let me tell you, I thought my relationship was perfect. After being in an abusive relationship for many years and newly remarried, I was living the fairytell life that I had always dreamed of.

After a while of my perfect life, I started noticing little things that my husband was doing that just didnt make any sense. Like he would keep his phone right by his side, and if it would ring in another room, he would literally chance breaking his neck to get to it before anyone else did.

He began working longer hours at work, and not calling me as often as he used to. He worked in a machine shop, so if I would call his cell phone, he normally wouldnt hear it. During this time however, he answered his cell phone EVERY TIME I would call. When I would ask him about it, he would say I was getting a bottle of water. He said at one point,”what I have been drinking a lot of water lately.”

Little did I know it was because he was talking to his mistress on the phone, and I beeped through.

One night, I couldnt take the sickening feeling in my gut anymore that my husband was cheating, I called him to our bedroom away from the kids, and asked him about it.

He denied, denied, denied. Until finally I told him that I knew something was going on and me and the kids were leaving until he could get the balls to tell me the truth. Thats when he told me. He still lied about a bunch of little things, but admitted to parts of it.

It took me about a week to get him to tell the truth about everything. Still to this day, I do not trust my husband the way I used to. But I love him, and didnt want to tear our family apart. It just goes to show, you never know.
