A Woman Burns Herself and Four of Her Own Children to Death Because of a Painful Marriage

In what has now been confirmed as a case of marital discord that went terribly bad, a Ugandan woman went into a mental delirium and did the most insane thing any mother could do to her own children.
This lady was a happily married woman until quite recently when she learnt that her husband was seeing another woman and the affair was so hot that the hubby didn’t have any more space for his beautiful wife who bore him 4 beautiful daughters.
The close of the Holy month of the Edi Adua commonly observed by Muslims to mark the end of the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca was a family affair for this family. All the beautiful girls of this woman had a group photo with their mother standing happily behind them. All seemed so well, but this woman had ideas of her own brewing in her head.
One week after celebrating the Muslim holiday of Idi Adua, news was on the Uganda media that she had killed herself with nearly all her children. She locked herself in the house, tied all her children of ages between 8-14 years to their beds and then sprinkled kerosene on each of them before pouring the same on her own body and setting themselves alight. Two of her kids along with herself died instantly in the inferno, two others were rescued by villagers and rushed to hospital. Sadly, even those rescued died later in Hospital of their burns.
The husband told police that the wife had become too dangerous for him to return to her. He reported that by the time he decided to flee the house, his wife had burnt all his clothing and was threatening his life as well. He feared for his life and so did not think going back to his marital home was a wise thing to do.
Domestic violence is getting so violent in this country today and the women are emerging as the perpetrators of gruesome family killings sparked off by marital discord. How Gorillas Live
