If you answer yes for most of these questions, you may well be a fall back fall back girl. The fall back girl is the woman that men keep in their wings because they know that they can return to her when they are experiencing a relationship drought, marital problems and low sense of self. A fall back girl can be the female involved in a paramour relationship with a man that visits her solely for sexual gratification and may offer monetary contributions. She is the woman that he strings along. The relationship is never over with the Fall Back girl. Her main role is that of the female that the man can run to when his supplies have been depleted or he is not in the mood to woo new women for companionship.
Some fall back girls are happy with the idea of being the last resort but for other women the idea is harrowing, painstaking and heartaching. Many women maintain the fall back girl scenario because they are afraid that the man will leave and never come back. Some women claim that they love the man but understands that at this moment he is emotionally unavailable and will rather have him around once in a while than none at all. Why do women settle for the Fall Back Girl status?

Some women assume that because a man comes back every six months it means he cannot get over her, therefore it serves as an ego booster. But why would a man who loves you, leave you and keep drowning and resurfacing? Other fall back girls are blindly in love with an emotionally unavailable man and would rather wait for him until he gets his act together ( i personally do not have that patience). Some women say its convenient because they are not looking for a long term committed relationship and being the fall back girl allows them to keep contact with their exes. They claim that men feel more comfortable with them because the fall back girl does not add the stress that comes along with being the commitment fanatic woman.
