Yes, often just quietly observing someone provides clues.

I've found that when a person says one thing but the actions show something else, it may be an indicator that something is out of whack.

We have to remember that liars are very adept at rationalizing their behavior. Sometimes the subtle cues are the ones that tell the real tale.

Personally, if I have concerns, I’ll just observe someone. Eventually they give it away.

My own opinion…if you are with someone you don’t/can’t trust, I think you’re with the wrong person.

Thanks everyone. This strikes home with me because I was with a deceptive person. The actions were always different from what was said. After awhile, a pattern became obvious.
