How many times have you wished for the courage to approach a particular girl? Pay attention; you will find that it isn’t as hard as you thought.  Follow these tips the next time a girl catches your eye.

If you glance across the room and see a girl who you would like to get to know, notice if she is looking at you. Is she smiling? If so, smile back, then look away. Glance her way again about a minute later. If she is still looking at you and she’s smiling, then by all means approach her! I know that walk can be a little scary, but the girl has smiled at you twice, therefore it is safe to go to her.

Just say “Hi” and introduce yourself. Concentrate on your breathing. Seriously, if you are conscious about your breathing, you will be less nervous.

If the girl doesn’t initiate the conversation, (she may be shy too) then it’s up to you. You can do it! Remark about her jewelry, talk about what a great party it is… Just one little comment will get a conversation going. 

If she is playing with her hair, smiling with her head slightly tilted or has her legs crossed while facing you, then ask her out! These are all great signs that she’s interested in you. If you are still uncertain, look at your watch, and tell her that you have to leave, but ask if you could give her a call in a day or two.  

Okay, she said yes, now where to go on your first date? A good choice would be to go see a movie. It doesn’t need to be a chic-flick, but shouldn’t be blood-and-guts either. A comedy would be the best choice. Laughing will ease the tension.

After the movie, go for a cup of coffee or dessert. You will have something to talk about then… the movie! 

Walk your date to the door, touch one of her hands and give her a kiss on the cheek. Tell her you will call her (and when). Keep your promise and call as planned. Girls love guys who keep their word. Another thing girls love…flowers! For your second date, take her a single white or pink rose.
