Beth and Lexie’s List of Love Advice for Clueless Males

THINGS YOU SHOULD DO

1. Compliment her. Mean it. Don’t say it in hope you’ll get lucky. 
2. Stand by her. It doesn’t matter if she’s right or wrong. 
3. Show her off to your friends. Let them know how much she means to you. 
4. Commit to her and only her, mind body and soul. Don’t break that promise. 
5. Write her a song or poems. Send them to her no matter how they turn out. 
6. Memorize her favorite songs. Sing them to her. Write dedications on youtube or the radio.
7. When in a relationship, devote yourself and you attention to her. She doesn’t want to feel like she has to compete with other things.  
8. Tell her that you love her as many times as you can. Don’t be thinking that she already knows because 3 times out of 10 she bloody doesn’t. 
9. Leave her comments on any website you can myspace, facebook, bebo, etc. They’ll make her day and if you can’t think of anything to say, at least comment back when she says things to you.
10. Leave her messages on little notes on her makeup mirror. (You’re beautiful, I love you, etc.) When she leaves things for you, acknowledge them. Don’t make her ask if you got them. 
11. Give her your passwords. It shows you trust her completely and reassures her you can be trusted too. Write sweet things in their “About Me” sections. 
12. On special occasions like anniversaries send her a rose for each day you’ve known her. Never forget the date of the day you met.  
13. When she falls asleep on the sofa cover her with a blanket and kiss her on the forehead. Just sit with her and watch her sleep. 
14. Tell her your thoughts just because you want to share. If she asks, it’s just because she loves you and wants to know. Be honest and tell her your true thoughts. 
15. If your girlfriend is sleeping at your house, wake up and hold her tight. When she says what’s wrong, reply: “Sorry, I am just so scared of losing you.”
16. Give her a nickname only you call her. 
17. Tell her the songs that remind you of her. It’ll make her feel very special. She’ll listen to them all the time. 
18. Call her each day for no reason other than you want to hear her voice. 
19. When your alone on a park bench, stroke her cheek and put your hand on the back of her neck and give her a soft slight kiss. Better yet, don’t even wait till you’re alone. 
20. Lend her your jacket. Even if it means you freeze your bum off. 
21. Take her shopping in New York at Christmas. Walk hand in hand as the snow falls. 
22. Sing Enrique Iglesias songs to her even though you don’t like him. I recommend “Hero”. 
23. Always pick her over your friends. You shouldn’t even have to think twice about it. 
24. Always carry her picture in your wallet so she’s always with you. 
25. When you say goodbye, kiss her and walk away. When she starts to leave, run to her and grab her. Turn her around and passionately kiss her.
26. Buy her the best chocolates even though they cost a bomb. Don’t help yourself to them, they’re hers. 
27. Give her romantic massages. Don’t assume she owes you for the sweet gesture.
28. When your girlfriend asks you something, be nice enough to ask her back.
29. Send her pictures of random things you see just to let her know you’re thinking of her. Even if you have to use a ladder to get to that perfect flower. 
30. Clean up or cook for her when she’s tired. Or even when she’s not. 
31. When you get out the shower, stop and look at her and do a little dance. Then offer to be her towel. 
32. Tell your parents about her.
33. When you wake up in the morning and you see her awake, rub your eyes and say “Sorry, I thought I was dreaming.”
34. Talk to her under the stars. 
35. Laugh at her jokes even if they aren’t that funny.
36. When you can’t be together, go outside and look at the moon knowing you’re both under the same sky seeing the same thing at the same time. 
37. Learn everything there is to know about her.
38. Hold her hand. Every chance you get. 
39. Know her favorite flower. Surprise her by randomly sending some just because. 
40. Send her things in the mail for no reason at all. 
41. IM her the second she comes online and let her know how much you missed her. 
42. Always believe and be proud of her. 
43. Know her favorite books. Get a copy and read it. Write your thoughts in the margins and give it to her. 
44. When she tells you she loves you, say it back rather than change the subject.
45. Speak with her parents. Be on good terms with them and ask permission.
46. Play with her hair. 
47. Sing her a lullaby. And have her wake up to breakfast in bed. 
48. Talk about your future together. Including having a family and getting married. Weddings with red dresses during winter in New York. 
49. Kiss her under mistletoe. 
50. Always tell her how special she is even after an argument. Never leave things with a negative vibe.
