Boys, Am I Right?
by What the hell are you supposed to do? Is there no way to figure them out?
Okay, I have a problem that a lot of people my age just can’t seem to understand: what is the deal with guys? Okay, so you flirt for, I don’t know…A WEEK, then you hand out a lot, you go to the movies, you go to his house…nothing happens! NOTHING. There’s where it gets confusing for me. I mean, hello, get with the program, dude! I can’t be the conversation starter all the time. Can’t, I dunno, can’t someone just tell me the secret of their existence? That would be a hell of a lot easier.
Now, here’s the part I really get confused at: when he’s dropping you off at your house, what do you say? Do you just say “Thanks!” and then hop out? Or do you lean over and give him a hug, or do you look into his eyes until he kisses you? I had that awkward moment just last night, for crying out loud!
His friends leave, and then he tells me he better take me home because it’s almost 11. We’re driving, we’re talking, and then we pull up in front of my house. I say the awkward “thank you”, he smiles reassuringly, and then I climb out of the car and he drives off when I’m in the house. Okay, i saw the hints. We spent eight hours together! In one day! What am I supposed to do?
So, I’m actually asking for advice, I really need to know what to do! You like this guy, but you don’t know what to do, you know what I mean? Please, I’m an idiot in this field!
