Characteristics of Real Friends

- A real friend will always tell you when you go wrong. If a friend knows very well that you are going wrong and he or she doesn’t s tell you or warn you, then he’s not a real friend.
- A real friend will always be on the level with you all the time. If a person is always straight with you, then he’s a real friend and you can trust him or her.
- Real friends will always listen and pay attention to each all the time.
- A real friend will always stick with you all the time, especially during hard times.
- A good friend will always share his or her feelings with you. When he or she does that, you’ll know when he or she is sad or happy. Real friends show empathy.
- Real friends will never have an intention of putting you in trouble or in any difficult situation due to their own actions. For example, a real friend will never steal something and later on say that he or she did it with you.
- No one is flawless in this world, and so, a real friend will not expect others to be perfect. We all make mistakes and whether we make mistakes or not, we need real friends.
