Confirmation Before Dating

My friend told me that he was going to have dating with girl whom he contacted from tagged.com.  I was happy to hear that because he was not in relationship for more than 10 years. I said to him,”Wow, that’s good news. Tell me your success story after dating.” He was supposed to have dating in 6:00 pm. but, at 10:00 pm, I received SMS from him that she did not come because she forgot. He was very disappointed. He felt that date with him was not important to her.

I thought that perhaps she forgot because he did not make confirmation few hours before dating, asking whether she could meet him as they had previously planned. Then, I asked him by phone whether he made confirmation before date at least an hour before the date. I suggested making confirmation after he scheduled the date.

In my experience, some person cancelled the date last minutes before we were supposed to meet. It disappointed me. Almost everyone will be disappointed when something what he expects does not happen when he comes to the place for dating but his partner forget to come. It is more disappointing than canceling the date a few hours before because it wastes the time.

Air Bus Company always suggests the passenger to confirm their presence to check-in counter. The plane cannot wait those who do not confirm in check in counter because it is waste the time to wait those who do not come.

Your time is valuable. To reduce your disappointment, it is better to make prior confirmation whether your date can come than you waste the time to wait for someone who forgets or cancels the dating. Maybe, she really forgets because she is very busy. Prior confirmation can remind the dating you have scheduled and you will know whether she will come. It is to prevent time loss. At least, if your date cancels previously, you have chance to plan other activities, such as: spending the time with other friend.
