Custody Battles Harming Children

  Children are always hurt during divorce. But when a custody battle begins the child is stuck in the middle. The child is not put first instead it is a battle against the mother and father. Negative things about the other parent should never be said especially when the child is present. The pressure on the child is increasingly hard because the child or children believe they have to chose sides. Also the child is knowing more possibly than they need to know. This can harm a child not in a physical way but emotional. They may hold a grudge against one parent. The best way to parent during a divorce is to parent together. You do not have to be in love but you both should have the child in mind and that is a similar interest.
