Date Ideas
Low cost date ideas.
As everything around us is growing in costs, going out on a decently priced date is becoming harder and harder. a couple has a lot on their minds especially if it’s a first date, cost of the date should not be one of them. There are things a couple can do to get to know each other without spending a great deal of case. Here are some ideas that have worked for numerous couples.
Picnic in the park: You can pack a nice little basket with a blanket and head to the nearest park. You can eat and chat with each other while you people watch. You can grab a frizbee and toss it around or a ball or something. You can go back to your childhood and play on the playground equipment. There is nothing more romantic then having my man push me on the swings. A picnic is a wonderful way to get closer together and share some moments, you see a different side of each other because you feel a little more comfortable.
Take A Hike: Fall is a wonderful time of the year for this. Perfect to take a hike together. There can be moments of silence that aren’t awkward or anything. You can just walk and admire the nature around you. You can find a romantic spot and enjoy the surroundings and each other. It gives you a chance to talk ideas and goals, and what you think could be done to help environment. Touchy subject I know, but you can gather information about each other and enjoy what you see in both nature and each other. Who knows you may even get to see some wildlife.
Sledding: You could always find a nice hill somewhere and go sled riding alone or with some friends. You can build snowmen, snow-angels, and even have a friendly snowball fight. After you get so cold, you can go inside and cuddle up together with hot chocolate under a blanket. You can take pictures of your snowmen and each other to remember the moment. It’ll also give you a chance to remember some past fun and share more of you to your spouse. It’s always wonderful to have something to share and bond over. You can open up a little about childhood here too.
College Events: Every college has some sort of event going on whether it be sports, theater, or something completely different, but there is always something going on for all tastes. Most college understand the importance of low cost to college students so some events are as low as a dollar or free. You could cheer on the team or take in a poetry reading or whatever else tickles your fancy. Exploring college culture events broadens your horizons together and gives you something to discuss later on in the day or week.
Stay In: I know this one sounds so simple, and it is. A date doesn’t mean that you have to go out all the time. Staying in is just as nice and romantic. You can cook dinner for each other and rent a romantic movie (or whatever floats your boat) and cuddle up and watch it. Or you can invite some other couples and have a game night with games like Cranium or Battle of the Sexes. Healthy competition between friends is always good and gives you another environment to see your spouse in.
Dating is stressful enough, cost of the date shouldn’t add to it. You should be trying to learn more about each other not worrying about if you have enough money for the date. You should be making memories, and some of the most romantic and memorable moments are made without the use of money, when things get creative.
