Do Bride and Groom Ever Excited for Their Engagement?

I had an experince with my cousin engagement. His engagement held just beside the beach. Sharp on time, my cousin, well dressed in his wedding suit walked up to one of the flags and greeted all those present. Then I saw the Bride being led by her father walking up to the flag and handed over her daughter to the Bridegroom. The official ‘Registrar’ was there. The registration ceremony was conducted by the ‘Registrar’ and he announced the couple as ‘married’. Light drink was served and all those present took their turns to wish the couple all the best. The wedding was over. What I liked most was the simple ceremony that was conducted to have this wedding instead of spending a lot of money on unnecessary “Pomp & Show”. No decoration, no hall, No fans, No air conditioners and No expenses. Every one enjoyed the nice and cool breeze over the sea. The day was wonderful out side, I wish I could stay there an hour more.
