Do You Know When You’re Really in Love?

Do you know when you’re truly in love?:

In my opinion, when a person truly falls in love, they have “no” interest in dating or seeing another person, and they have made this commitment within their heart. True love does many strange things to us…it causes us sleepless nights, no hunger, palpitations, sweaty palms, desires to be with the person constantly, a longing to make the relationship a permanent union, and we “no longer” get rapid heart-beats when someone sexy turns us on.

True love opens a heart and soul:

It’s strange how an active male/female can have “no” cares in the world, and all at once, they find themselves falling deeply in love with the person they are dating. It zaps our appeal for other men/women and we want to be with the person we’re dating every second we can. We never tire of them and they keep us turned on with passionate kisses and hugs and with a yearning to share ourselves with them totally. We’re content to do almost anything as long as we’re doing it with them.

We want to share our lives with them and we hope they’re as much in love with us as we’re with them. Our minds start to run wild when they’re late picking us up for a date and we think all sorts of silly things. If they’re suppose to call us and they don’t, we’re on the brink of a nervous breakdown because we think they don’t love us anymore. It’s a sad thing to say but true love can torture the mind and cause people to experience things they’ve never experienced before in their lives.

Cry at the drop of a hat:

We’re not happy unless we’re in constant contact with them and we want to know everything they’re doing and where they’re going. It’s like a new mother with her newborn, she wants to be with them at all times and doesn’t want to miss out on a single thing. We’ll want to call them but we do not want them to think we’re checking up on them. We’ll have sleepless nights and fits of crying when we believe they might have eyes for someone else. If they’re a few minutes late picking us up, we’ll go in our rooms and begin to cry for fear they’re not wanting to date us anymore.

Love is a strange thing…sometimes we cannot live with it and we know we cannot live without it…we’re like a tiger in a cage, walking back and forth considering the situation from every angle.
