Establishing a Nurturing and Loving Relationship with a Kindred Spirit

Not being loved by anyone when you really want to will hurt for awhile. Through personal experience, I know I never felt good about myself as I felt when I thought someone loved me and I shared my life with them. Being loved by someone, having someone you think the world of wrap their arms around you, tell you they love you and smile down at you, there’s just nothing like it in the world, and nothing can replace it or be a reasonable substitution for it. It just adds something to your life that all the self esteem and development classes, can’t. But that is not a good enough reason to cling to a relationship that isn’t right. Making this kind of choice means making a sacrifice – to embrace your soul and spirit, in order to obtain a more fulfilling, rewarding and enhancing relationship, or be in a situation where you will continue to lose your soul and spirit because you are with someone out of fear of being alone, or because you have “invested” time and effort into the relationship with the hope one day you will be loved the way you want to be loved. You have to ask. “How can this person truly love me how I want to be loved when I don”t know how to love and truly appreciate ME?’

Learn and discover yourself. Terminating habits and any areas in your life that no longer serve you, nor serve a purpose to your growth is scary, but this creates space for better things to come into your life. Do your best to enjoy the life you have as much as possible – this is your best gift to yourself. The universal law always supports every effort made to honor one’s soul to grow, learn and obtain wisdom. For this effort made, eventual success in a more fulfilling relationship and more prosperity in life will be assured.
