Finding Mr or Miss Right Partner

It is not that some of us are unable to find that “special” person in our life its more of a matter of us weaker passion seekers finding love with the wrong people. I was just going through yet another drama and breakup with yet another “not boyfriend”. The passion was fantastic the first time we kissed it was electric. Its like having a drug that you are instantly hooked on and need more of, there is never enough and so when the phone call or text message comes maybe once a week, your heart leaps around and you jump to the phone.

Finally, I realized that at dinner, the conversation was stilted and the comfort zone in the light of day was not there. Then I cast a glance around at my friends who suffer the same drama repeatedly. We all love the “lightening bolt” we are hooked on the drama. That lightening bolt person does not have the credentials we were looking for in the first place, we just threw out those values when the first kiss happened.

The obvious answer is to resist and hold a picture of that great compatible person in your head who you will get along with famously and be able to talk to and who can love you for all that you are. Oh I can see him now…..
