Finding True Love – on TV?

Dating is hard enough. Why would you think 15 minutes of fame would make them love you?

So to all of you normal guys out there here are my thoughts on the first date. One, to find out what kind of girl she is take her to a carnival or a place with rides. Why you may ask, well because you can see what kind a girl she is in one night. If she like roller coasters, she’s a thrill seeker. If she wants to just play games all night, well either she likes to play games (and might just with your head) or she is really an outgoing person. If she gets mad because someone takes to long to order their corn dog, she has a short temper and might not be the one to take home to mom. If she pukes on an anti gravity ride, you might not want to try and figure out how to get to first base. (For obvious reasons.)

The carnival is also good because there is not time for an awkward silence or someone talking to much. Another idea would be out with your friends and hers. Why? Well that is easy. If she cant hang with your friends, she might just not make the cut. If she and her friends move away from your group of friends then again is a hint she cant cut it. I think that the friends idea is the best way to go. You find out a lot about a person when your with your friends. If you start acting different around your friends chances are they will call you on it in front of your date. If you go out and she starts acting different in front of her friends there will be a lot of trips to the ladies room and that might just end the date right there.

So understand that you might not be the Bachelor but you too can turn one date in to the make or break, end all be all of rose ceremonies. (If you want to be tricky go to the carnival first, then the next time that you go out, go with friends.) These are some ways to speed date without the buzzer. This is also a good way to get certain things out of the way up front. But just remember that the one thing that no reality TV show can offer, honesty.
