Many a time’s people ask, “Why is it that some people cheat but they are never caught?” The mere fact that someone knows that one cheated tells that every cheater gets caught but not every one of the cheaters gets reported and therefore not every cheater gets to be punished for the ills he or she has done right on time, which means he surely did get caught.
I am certain that every one above the age of 5 living in this world has deceived someone at one time or the other. From simple cons of denying having stolen sugar in broad day light to the worst of them all according to human nature stealing someone else’s wife or husband. The weight of the con depends on the impact it causes on the person being cheated, the culprit.
Reviewing the simplest of the cheat situations; denying having stolen sugar and putting on an extra deceiving face of innocence is one of the major cons we would all recognize having played on our parents while we were still young. As we grow we learn how to cover up for the first cheating situation, on and on we come up with better situations. Like being able to take a dollar from the till and still manage to balance the books at the end of the day without getting caught. Most of the people call this stealing inclusive of covering your foot prints.
The main issue here is; what makes the difference between the person who cheats and doesn’t get caught right on time by the person who he cheated and the person who gets caught red handed? The difference lies between remembering to keep the conversation going as you steal the sugar without stammering as opposed to forgetting to shake the sugar bowl, wipe the sugar granules from the chin and walking past mom in the kitchen with a sigh of “Hi Mom?”, you just sold yourself short.
Point to point analysis:
A professional cheat dupes others even without knowing that he is really cheating. He is just so used to cheating that it flows in the blood. He is addicted to it and it is so had to change the behavior. He has his story all together and doesn’t break from it at all.
An amateur cheat may never learn at all how to deceive his culprit. He tells plenty of stories and ends up getting caught in the process.
