Five Steps to Improve Your Relationship

These are some steps on how to improve your relationship. Hope it works for you.

Relationships are serious businesses. It takes time, efforts, awkward moments and money of course. You are willing to give all of these things just to have the girl of your dreams. However, there are times when relationships get a bit out of hand. There are some things that just happen even though we don’t want them to. These are the things that couples must be ready for. Here are some steps that couples could follow to save their relationship.

1. WHAT IS WRONG?

You should first know what the problem is. Is it about you or her? What triggered the problem? The key to solving anything is to first determine what the problem is. This would then help a person know how to address the situation.

2. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Just like in sports, you should be ready with a solid plan or plans on how to win the game. You should have at least three sets of plans ready. Why? This is because solving problems could really get complicated. Having the right skills would also be of advantage.

3. WHEN WIL YOU DO IT?

Set a date where both of you could spend time together. In this certain date, do not let anything or anyone interfere with your bonding time. Make sure to give extra attention to each other. Make him or her feel special.

4. HOW TO DO IT?

Don’t fight. Learn the art of listening. Understand each other. Observe and try to keep in mind the things that you don’t agree on. Talk straight. Avoid giving excuses. Be as honest as you can be. NOTE: Lies and excuses wouldn’t help. It just adds more problems than you can imagine.

5. HOW TO MAINTAIN IT?

After hearing both sides of the argument, the only thing left to do is to compromise. Be flexible to change. Accepting each other’s faults and weaknesses would make your relationship last. Bear in mind that people are imperfect by nature. Loving comes with accepting. Ponder this thought, would you rather lose the one you love than exert effort to keep her? Another thing, relationships should be handled with caution. Remember the golden saying: do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you. This principle must be applied to relationships as well.
