Five Things Your Partner Doesn’t Want You To Do
Little things that drive your significant other crazy (the bad way) are as important as the big things that drive you away from them…
We may all have read about perfect couples, but maybe it’s time we should try to live it? Of course, no one “magic rule” exists for relationships, and no one can guarantee that the things you read in magazines would magically bandage your relationship to the times when you loved going to the restaurant together and almost melted in front of your partner when you see them.
Yet, perhaps there are some simple tips that can keep you away from the struggling times, it’s all about knowing what the other gender finds impossible to bear.
-
Forgetfulness and Broken Promises
This is the top one on women’s list. They simply HATE when their partner doesn’t remember their birthday, promises to call and doesn’t and when they ask you to do something and you simply put it behind your ear. Men, believe me, the only way to get rid of a woman is to forget what she said, and tell her you’ll call back and just go to the pub instead. It will guarantee you being alone for the whole week.
-
Long Talks on the Phone
It’s not really about the paycheck that men worry about when you’re too long on the phone; it’s, in fact, the “waiting” that men can’t stand. They don’t want to spend their time watching you talking with your friend about the next movie at the theaters, or about what your colleague was wearing to the ceremony. He really doesn’t care about all that and wants to spend the time with you, my lady. So… when your man reaches home, you better hang up before he waits another second.
-
Over Jealous and Scandalous Acts
Women don’t appreciate their men to start scandals in the middle of the mall because the man suspected a flirt going around with the cashier. Keep it all low please! Even if she’s really too flirtatious, you should keep it all at home where you can explain (calmly) your feelings about her acts. You can’t really stop a woman from flirting (even if she’s committed) because she’s a woman and always needs attention. And to tell you the truth, women sometimes like small busts of jealousy over their heads, but it turns very, very annoying when it oversteps the boundaries and gets loud.
-
Long and Crowded Men Group-Talks
These, ladies and gents, bore women. Men might love talking hours about the new sports car and about football, but not all women enjoy that company. So it’s either to keep it short, or to men-group up when women are not in the company, or simply to find some entertainment for the women as well… like other women.

Inattention:
I don’t know if you have felt this, but I was pissed when my classmate complemented on my new hair color (he was male by the way), and my boyfriend didn’t say a word about it. It was always like that: you should turn from sunshine blond to killer brunette for your man to notice you. Pointing out that paying attention to another person (instead of your share of the pie) would definitely be the wrong understanding of this tip.
Good luck with your partner, and remember to always be yourself… just a little bit more educated and tuned up.

Most of these cut both ways. If it bugs you that your fella doesn’t compliment you on your new hairstyle or dress just ask yourself when was the last time you gave him a compliment? Not too flowery – men don’t like gushy praise – but a simple “that’s a nice tie” or “that’s a smart shirt – is it new?” would do.

I have to agree with Bruce, What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Male and Female’s alike want attention from his or her partner. Supporting each other in regardless of worries, or doubts of the success of the venture. I have found that supporting each other and great communication is vital to a healthy relationship.
Great article. Can’t wait to read more of your work.
