Five Ways to Make Love Last Forever
It is possible to live in an eternal honeymoon period. The relationship secrets you need to know.
It’s long been held that after a year or two the flame in a relationship starts to burn out. Researchers have recently found that for some couples, this isn’t the case. For them the so-called honeymoon period never end. The researchers observed five things that made these couples different from those who’s passion died out. Here they are:
- Their relaxed. They have a minimum of stress in their lives, and work less than 50 hours a week. Home is their haven, not a place of added pressure. If money is an issue they simply start living smaller.
- The couples tended to have a minimum of three close friends who weren’t mutual and at least one couple they regularly socialised with.
- They embrace the odd argument. They never let things bottle up and cause resentment. Instead they are open and honest, talking through their issues as they arise.
- They never let themselves get into a rut. The loved up couples are always trying new things together, whether it be a new restaurant, a cooking class or a new move in bed.
- They celebrate each others success’s and support each other through the tough times. They always believe in each other.
That’s not so hard. It’s easy to take these lessons and start incorporating them into your own life, giving your intimacy a boost and helping you on your way to a long and happy relationship.
