Getting a Girl to Like You

The Basics

• Have your own life. Don’t try to follow the girl you like around, trying to impress her, it just doesn’t work. The best thing to do is just live your life, the girl’s will be attracted to you.
• Become friends with her. Most girls don’t fall for strangers, well atleast the normal girls your after don’t. If you see her commonly, simply say “hi Shaina” or another acknowledgment of her presence. If she’s shy she might just smile back at you, but this is still an improvement. There is a fine line between friends who can date, and getting stuck inside of the dreaded “friend-zone”. Once again every girl is diferent, and this applies to how good a friend you can become with her, it’s a judgement call her unfortunatly.
• Make sure you flirt! When you see a girl, try to make brief eye contact with her, if you do make sure you smile at her. Try to start a conversation with her, but remain casual while doing so. Keep relaxed, and always expect that a girl won’t immediatly fall in love with you, there is some work involved i hope you know! Don’t go overboard flirting either, remember to think before you speak to avoid ending any future chance of dating.
• Make sure you talk to her. Girls enjoy it when a guy talks to them frequently, it gives them an impression of security. Pay attention to what she says, this could be important in the future.
• Breaking the touch barrier. This is a lot harder to do than it sounds. You must be on friendly terms with the girl, and how friendly varies girl to girl. The easiest way to do this is by holding her coat when she puts it on, grabbing her if she’s about to fall, stuff like that. Make sure you don’t grasp her firmly, keep the touch light and quick.
• Make her enjoy your company. When you talk with her, make her laugh. If you find something nice about her, compliment her in a non-creepy casual way.
• When you ask her out. Invite her to go with you to a mutual place, somewhere you both enjoy. Common places are the movies, dinner, or a public event. Keep it casual! Most girls don’t like to go on a formal first date. Don’t expect a huge make-out session on your first date either, be happy if you get a quick light kiss at the end.

Some Tips

• Patience, patience, and more patience. Don’t rush to try to get a girl to like you, it is guarenteed to fail.
• Don’t overdo the compliments. If she’s beutiful, only tell her so once or twice, otherwise you’ll seem creepy to her.
• ALWAYS SMILE! whenever you talk to her, Smile! Whenever you see her, make sure your smiling!
• Stay true to yourself. Girls don’t like guys that try to be somebody who they aren’t. Girls aren’t stupid, they can see straight through any attempted change in personality, it’s like their physcics.
• Always be polite. Make sure you act like a gentlemen, such as holding doors for her.
• Remember! the little things do count!

A Few Warnings

• Too much of anything is bad. Once again do not overdo it.
• Always use good hygenie. Well, you should be doing this anyway, not just to get a girl.
• Nobody’s perfect, not even you. You will mess up, just try to limit your mess-ups.
• Immaturity is bad! Don’t ever tell her dirty jokes, unless she’s into that type of thing!
