Have Faith in Your Partner

Why are some so quick to be suspicious?

Scenario A) Husband comes home a bit later than usual and you can tell he has had a glass of wine? Wife thinks he’s been with another lady, only to find out, it was a colleagues last day at work and they all went out for a drink.

Scenario B) Wife is talking to someone in a party and smiling away. Husband thinks the man talking to her is hitting on her and she is flirting back, only to find out, they were simply making polite conversation.

Scenario C) Ladies… You check the pockets of your fiance’s trousers under the pretence of washing them and find a beautiful Jewelry box. Your blood is beginning to boil. “He’s having an affair.” He happens to walk in while the gift box is in your hands.

“What is this?” you scream in rage at the poor guy. He calmly tells you to open it. You open it and it’s a beautiful bracelet personalised for you with your name and the words “I love you”. Now what do you say? How dumb would one feel? More to the point, how would he feel?

Let’s have faith in our partners and not be quick to judge or jump to conclusions.  In most cases, there will be a perfect, reasonable explanation for what happened or why they didn’t drop everything, to answer your phone call.
