Heartache and Hate
My Creative writing teacher sent us to a site to play a game called JackPoe! takes three random Edgar Allen Poe topics and makes them the subjects of your story. I got a Dungeon, a Prisoner, and a Mysterious Illness, this is a little uneven, but let me know wat you think. Wasn’t sure on the title of this either so offer any suggestions please.
The one who had no memory of the recent happenings spent several months mourning what he did. He wasn’t even sure what he was told could even be true. He loved this woman and knew this man as a brother. How could this have happened? He had no knowledge of what happened. For all he was concerned, the man he knew as a friend had framed him for the murder of this girl and hid his love away just to keep him away. There was no evidence of who this girl was, all that remained were tattered garments, and a splash of blood. His mind was now set, he had to get back at the man who betrayed him. He spent his days regaining his strength, until one day he just walked through the walls of his prison cell.
The officials looked high and low. No one could find him anywhere. Only he knew where he was, and what he had to do. He had found his betrayer, and followed him closely for some time. When all had left the home of his betrayer, he made his way in. he found that he wasn’t entirely alone, there was a maid about the house, however, she was deaf and could not hear him as he entered. He went upstairs and destroyed the place, making it seem as though the place had been robbed.
